Cartoon Network and Gorilla Media, creators of the gorilla cartoon series, launched in the late 1990s as a joint venture between Cartoon Network, Inc. and Gorillabox Studios, Inc., a subsidiary of Cartoon Network.
Since its inception, the two companies have produced hundreds of animated cartoons and television series.
Today, Cartoon Network is one of the largest networks in the world with more than 3,200 programming shows and a total of 9,600+ cartoon characters.
The network’s most popular series is the award-winning Gorillabeast series, which was launched in 2013.
Its popularity has expanded to include animated feature films such as Zootopia, The Great Mouse Detective, and Ratatouille.
In addition to its animated programs, Cartoon Networks includes original series, such as The Simpsons, The Boondocks, The Simpsons: Bart’s Speculative Adventure, and The Simpsons Movie.
